The modern farmhouse kitchen is part of a project I like to call the three week remodel. The couple that hired me for this project had just purchased a home that was built in the early nineties and had a three week timeline to accomplish a whole lotta stuff before they moved in! And no, we didn't finish in those three weeks. But we did re-do their kitchen into the lovely space you see below. Changes made to this kitchen include removing a soffit that ran across the room, installing custom upper cabinets where the soffit used to be, replacing a built-in desk area with a large pantry cabinet, new countertops, painted all the cabinets white, and added light fixtures above the sink and island. The end result is a classic kitchen that not only looks pretty but adds significant value to their home. Full before and after's on this post.
